Projects Funded

The objective of R & D Cell is to promote research activities among students and faculty as well as to provide a robust platform for sharing and implementing innovative and creative ideas to facilitate exchange of information and interaction among the various research institutes and industries to develop skilled manpower in various engineering fields.

R & D cell is headed by Director R&D Prof Dr.V.Gunasekhar Reddy, ECE Dept. under the Chairmanship of Principal, MIST. It is supported by HODs of various departments , Faculty with Ph.D, Ph.D scholars, and students .

R&D cell has adequate Lab facility. The cell manages all the research Programs of the college by monitoring and coordinating the research Programs. It conducts the research review meetings to examine the quality of research being conducted by faculty and encourages for paper publications in reputed Journals. Encourages faculty research programmes with funding with DST, AICTE,UGC, Industries and other funding agencies.

The Student Incubation Centres are established in the labs of every department. The R&D cell co-ordinates with Student Incubation Centres of all the Depts of the Institution. Most of the Depts. have MOUs with Industries/Institutions for B.Tech & M.Tech Mini & Major Projects and encourages and rewards students for their incubative ideas in developing Projects.
