Dr. Maheswar Dutta

Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Principal of Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology

Dr. Maheswar Dutta brings with him nearly three decades of rich experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and institutional leadership. He has made significant contributions to research and academia and has successfully guided eight Ph.D. scholars.

Education

• Ph.D. in Internal Combustion (IC) Engines – Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH), Hyderabad
• Master’s Degree in Thermal Power Engineering – Gulbarga University
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Gulbarga University

Professional Experience & Leadership

Over the past two decades, Dr. Dutta has served as a Ratified Principal, Professor, and academic administrator in several reputed engineering institutions across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. His extensive administrative experience and academic leadership have contributed significantly to the development of the institutions with which he has been associated.

Research & Publications

• Approximately 125 research publications in national and international journals.
• Presented research findings at numerous national and international conferences, contributing to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

Academic Contributions & Vision

In addition to his academic and research accomplishments, Dr. Dutta has actively promoted professional development by organising seminars, workshops, Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), and other academic activities for the benefit of students and faculty members.
