HOSTEL

A hostel is a place where students can get food and lodging. Life in a hostel is not the same as life at home. When a student's home is too far away from his or her educational institution, he or she will usually stay in a hostel. A hostel makes the student self-dependent. The Hostel is maintained by or is under the direct control and management and admits only students from the College.
In June 2019, Mahaveer Educational Society (MES) opened its Hostel on the college campus, with separate hostels for boys and girls, modern amenities, and an attached mess. Fresh and hygienic food is served in the hostel mess.
Our college hostel is fully furnished with separate rooms for boys and girls. The hostels are purpose-built with two primary goals: safety and comfort. It is secured 24 hours a day and adheres to stringent security procedures, and is comfortable for our students to live in. The hostels are equipped with state-of-the-art restrooms (toilet and bathing cells). The staff on duty ensures that the area is kept clean. Each hostel room provides an inviting atmosphere and a pollution-free environment that fosters students' mental, physical, and spiritual development and assists them in becoming self-sufficient. Each Hostel (separate for boys and girls) in the College is self-contained with amenities such as a reading room, an indoor games room, a lounge, and a dining hall with mess.
The deliberations of the Hostel are governed by the Hostel Committee, which includes student representatives under the office of the Chief Warden. Working through this responsible body, the committee members lay down appropriate norms of behaviour to suit different situations and social occasions in the hostels, including the norms for the dining hall.
The Hostel provides the facilities like internet, a music room, and common room with TV & cable facility, salon facilities, a room for indoor games and a reading room with a collection of national/international newspapers, magazines, etc. The hostels' have a fully equipped gym. The concerned and highly experienced staff looks after the college assets and ensures that the Hostel remains responsive.
